i'm in taiwan! i've been here only a day and a half but yet it feels longer - in a good way though. perhaps it's because i only slept 2.5 hours out of the 14 hour plane ride and had to spend 3 hours after i got off the plane in a hospital drawing blood and taking x-rays (since i had a fever and they had to make sure i didn't have SARS). i've been sick for the past three days or so but i think i'm getting a bit better. they gave me some medicine at the hospital and dude, i think chinese medicine is way stronger. i'm only here for a week with lots to do - straighten/dye hair, get new glasses, shop, eat, etc - although i'm not too sure about the eating part, i still don't have much of an appetite to my dismay.

i'm sitting at my cousin's desk right now waiting for her to get off work so she can entertain me. it's a sunday and she's working! oh well, at least i have the internet to occupy myself with.
