so i bet y'all are wondering what's erika up to lately since she's left berkeley. with the help of lisa, i've compiled my daily events into a very easy to understand day-by-day routine.
two weeks ago: surgery, to remove an ovarian cyst. (i'm fine, no, better than fine. the cut just itches like hell now. i should be set to go snowboarding in two weeks, although they say my ovary won't completely heal till 3 months later. but that all happens inside anyway)
day 1: start reading volume II of proust's "remembrance of things past"
day 2: bake a cake
day 3: update queue on netflix hourly
day 4: straight perm front of hair
day 5: tuna casserole
day 6: facial
day 7: gardening
oh, and not to forget, the everyday essentials:
1) check email
2) find new things to fix for lunch (garlic, olive oil, and parsley pasta was on today's menu)
3) mail netflix DVDs
4) coffee
5) talk to lisa online
jess is on spring break next week so that should prove exciting. meaning, shopping 4 days out of the week, and the beach for the remainder. then, the week after, UC's/stanford spring break. which means, i'm going to get even fatter because i'm going to make jenn bake with me. come play with me!
best discovery as of late: dad's old ties. who knew my dad would have a YSL and dior tie?! from like 20 years ago! i was so excited! oh yes, i'm into ties too.
this is what happens once you remove an ovarian cyst.
in the words of my good friend richard:
aznherc (2:29:18 PM): what is going on erika
aznherc (2:29:23 PM): you're like a changed woman

You rock my world from 400 miles away. What happened with this cyst thing? As in, who got to see your ovaries before I did?!! I'm hurt, honestly. But I'm more glad that you're OK. I hope you do get to board soon! My ass STILL hurts and it's been over a week. and, no, it's not from anything other than the boarding ;P
hey erika! i miss you... kind of.. (don't think you're gonna get any special treatment from me just because you got surgery, which by the way, i did not know of until i just read your post and i'm glad you're doing okay!) hope all is well. i look forward to my future life after college after reading about your daily life.. :-) i'll join you soon.
